Kate Montero

Kate Montero is an Ocean City, Maryland native. Her writing partner, Christian Kahler, is a West-Australia native. Somehow, they found one another in Lake Worth, Florida. As two teachers-surfers, they are a rare breed, and decided to merge their loves of teaching and the ocean into one by creating "The Epic Adventures of Big Binks."

Currently, Kate is a professor of communication studies at Palm Beach State College.

Christian teaches education courses at Palm Beach State College, and is an elementary school specialist with certifications in reading, special education, ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages), and elementary education (k-5).
