F. Denis King is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He flew as a fighter interceptor pilot in the Air Defense Command and later as a Forward Air Controller with a Tactical Air Support Squadron in Vietnam. His awards include the Distinguished Flying Cross, The Bronze Star, Air Medals and the Vietnamese Gallantry Cross. As a commercial pilot, he flew the Lear jet, 727, 757, 767, DC-9 and DC-10. He served as Chairman of the National Communications Committee for the Allied Pilots Association (APA), and was Chief Pilot at DFW for a major airline. He lives with his wife, Colleen, in Arlington, TX. Most of their children, Karen, Mike, Kathy, Steve and Matt live close by. John is a short flight south to a town on the border.
Writing, once his avocation, is now his vocation. "Retribution", his second book, is a stand alone sequel to Price For A Patriot.
