Greg Maxwell

Greg Maxwell (1957-) has loved reptiles and insects from a very young age. As a child, he carried around a cardboard shoebox with paper snakes cut out for him by his mother. He has kept and bred many species of reptiles, with a particular fondness for Garter snakes and rattlesnakes. In 1993 he was introduced to the green tree python and quickly became obsessed with keeping and breeding this beautiful species.

Greg enjoys a wide variety of activities including fishing, bow hunting, camping, motorcycle riding, and visual astronomy. He lives in central Ohio with his wife Grace, and builds custom acoustic guitars as well as operating a stringed instrument repair shop.
