Nabil Harfoush

Nabil is Full Professor, Strategic Foresight & Innovation graduate program and Director of Resilience Design Lab at OCAD University, Toronto. He was Visiting Professor at Harvard's School of Engineering & Applied Science (SEAS), a Fellow of the College of Design, Engineering & Commerce and Adjunct Professor in the Strategic Design MBA program at Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He teaches graduate courses in Sustainable Business Design, Business Model Innovation and Strategic Foresight. Prior to joining academia Nabil served as Chief Information Officer for HelpCaster Technologies, MedcomSoft, and Nightingale Informatix. Nabil has more than 40 years of professional experience as an engineer, technology executive, and entrepreneur. He has consulted for enterprises, national governments, and international organizations including the World Bank, WHO, UNESCO, and IDRC.

Nabil is interested in the practice and models of multidisciplinary education and has developed the Designed Diversity best practices for highly diverse multidisciplinary teams. He is co-founder of the Community for Flourishing Enterprise (C4FE) Group on LinkedIn and focused on shifting SMEs towards sustainability. He is interested in supporting systemic change leveraging multi-disciplinary team dynamics, futures thinking, and strategic design.
