Damien Barr

Damien Barr was born in 1978 in Belfast and grew up in Derry. He left Queens University Belfast with a degree in Geography and German and a Masters in European Studies. He spent a term in the Irish Navy before finishing his studies and becoming a Geography Teacher.

After working in England for 4 years he moved to Munich and teaches Geography at the European School in Munich. He is currently writing his fourth book. In Derry he trains in the Long Tower Judo Club and at TSV München Ost in Munich. He also the captain of the FC Torpedo Haimhausen football team.
