Charles Lamb

Raised in England miles from the sea, Charles Lamb was diagnosed at an early age to have saltwater instead of blood in his veins. Seizing every opportunity to get afloat, though not always staying afloat, he progressed from river-bound rafts to ocean sailing.

After a few years in boat building and yacht design, he moved to Greece to run charter yachts, then to the Caribbean. With family multiplying, it was back to England for a spell, and then he set sail with his wife, Caroline, and two small children back to the Caribbean and eventually settled in Canada.

Tambow was born en route.

After another sail down to South America and a few more Atlantic crossings, Charles and Caroline now spend much of their time in SW France.
