Michael Urheber

My work explores the meeting place of drama, science, spirituality, music, and human consciousness. Arthur M. Young’s "The Reflexive Universe," George Spencer Brown’s "Laws of Form," and Tibetan Buddhist teachings have all been influential in my life. I earned a degree in music from Colorado College, where I studied under the American composer Carlton Gamer. With Jack Engstrom, president of the Institute for the Study of Consciousness, I co-wrote "The Further Shores of Knowing," a musical for which I also wrote the lyrics and composed the score. I am a member of the Authors Guild and the Dramatists Guild.
