After a career spanning over forty years in national security, politics and international finance, WH “Bill” Wisecarver turned to writing. In his recent novel: The Dawning, he fuses historical fiction with the issues facing modern society in a fast-paced action thriller. In shocking and sometimes terrifying detail, Wisecarver provokes the reader to embrace the power of the human spirit—to look beyond the dangers of the ghosts of the past. It’s not about revolution, it’s about evolution.
Born and raised in San Francisco, CA., Bill's professional experience spans both the public and private sectors. A former US Marine and TOPGUN graduate, he served three tours in the western Pacific with exchange tours in Japan and South Korea. He lectured at the USMC Command and Staff College before becoming a national security advisor on a Senate Leadership staff and Counsel for the Senate Armed Services Committee. Bill has also served in positions at NASA and the Pentagon. An attorney and financier, he has over twenty years’ experience in international business.
In addition to writing, Bill continues to provide counsel on national security, constitutional, and economic issues.
He is the recipient of numerous military honors and distinctions and has published several works on national security topics.
