Harry Ringel

Harry Ringel’s latest novel is The Phantom of Skid Row (Auctus Publishers, 2021). Shemhazai’s Game, a novel of Jewish fantasy, was published by Auctus in February 2020. Previous fiction publications include a novel of speculative fiction, The Tender Seed (Warner/Popular Library). Philadelphia-based, his feature articles have appeared in Philadelphia Magazine, Metropolitan, The Drummer, and The Evening Bulletin. One Philadelphia magazine article, about a racially mixed neighborhood’s rejection of an X-rated movie theater, was nominated for a Sigma Delta Chi award in investigative journalism. His writings on films and filmmakers have seen print in Sight and Sound, Take One, Film Heritage, Cinefantastique, and other periodicals. His English-as-Second-Language textbooks for New Readers Press continue to draw royalties from world-wide distribution.
