Taylor Evans is a student at Vanderbilt University studying public health and creative writing. She was a writer and editor for her high school newspaper and is involved in a female-run publication on campus. She has won awards for her poetry and short stories, and received a citation from the Ohio House of Representatives.
Once averse to reading and writing, Taylor reached a turning point in middle school and became an avid reader and decided to write and publish her own book. At 12 years old, she started writing a story that was the genesis of The Unknown, the first book in The Sorcerers' Prophecy Series.
For the past six years, Taylor has travelled to school districts in Cincinnati, Nashville, and New Haven to try to spark a passion for reading and writing in middle school students. This age group is near and dear to her heart because it was the age at which she decided to write her own book. She hopes that by sharing her story of going from a reluctant reader to an aspiring author, she will inspire other young students to find their passions and pursue their dreams.
Taylor lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her mom, dad, sisters, and brother. She loves all things having to do with puggles, home décor, baking, and travelling. She is currently working on the last book in the Sorcerers’ Prophecy Series.
