Frank Watson is a published writer of westerns, mysteries, and short stories.

Novels include A COLD, DARK TRAIL and THE HOMECOMING OF BILLY BILLY BUCHANAN, published by Fawcett, a division of Random House. THE HOMECOMING OF BILLY BUCHANAN was reprinted through the Authors Guild “Back in Print” program. It is available from Amazon.com.

Frank also was ghost-writer for several westerns in a series created by a well-known author for Zebra.

While Frank loves westerns, he has not limited himself to one genre A literary short story, “Where the Yellow Flowers Grow," won the Graduate Fiction Prize from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and was published in MYSTERIES OF THE OZARKS, VOLUME I from Skyward Publications. Another short story, “When Bonnie and Clyde Came to Town,” has a western motif and won a regional award. It was published in ECHOES OF THE OZARKS, VOLUME VI. Another short story, “Trophy Wife,” was included in the anthology, THAT MYSTERIOUS WOMAN: A SHAKER OF MARGARITAS from Mozark Press.
