Raised in a career military family in Hawaii, Craig MacIntosh came of age in the 60's explosion of rock-n-roll, surfing, the counter-culture revolution, and Vietnam. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Fine Arts, he was drafted and served in Vietnam as an infantry platoon leader.
