Mike Apodaca

I love storytelling. I'm enthralled by reading amazing books, watching terrific movies, and listening to people tell their stories.

I have been the vice president of the High Desert branch of the California Writer's Club for the last three years and have been the editor for their newsletter, The Inkslinger. I run their Zoom meetings and have developed a speaker's bureau for the club. I have published three stories in anthologies and two in the prestigious Literary Review. I've published four books in the Godsend series on Amazon, with two more in the works. I have another novel, INCA!, for which I am seeking representation. I am also writing a book on the image of God and a personal memoir. Finally, I have published two articles in our local paper.

I'm an ordained minister and have pastored and worked with youth groups for years. I recently retired from thirty years of teaching in the public schools (something I truly enjoyed).

I've been married for forty years and love my wife more every day. I have two adult children and two beautiful grandchildren.

My interests include studying theology, music (I play guitar), art (I paint in watercolors), traveling, friendships, education, government, gardening, landscaping, and pretty much everything else. Everything fascinates me. God has made a truly incredible universe and a world populated by complex interesting individuals.
