Patsy Thompson grew up in Jamaica, surrounded by the lively atmosphere of a tropical paradise, which helped shape her into the creative person she is today. From an early age, she discovered her talent for writing and expressed herself through articles, poetry, and short stories. Her narratives have captivating qualities, with characters so vividly portrayed that they seem to jump off the page.
Her literary journey made a giant leap when she published her memoir, My Sojourn in Paradise. Her book, Beyond the Shattered Dreams, is an intriguing mix of marvel and mystery set on the fictional island of Xanica, highlighting her storytelling skills and imaginative depth.
Beyond her writing, Patsy is a woman of many talents and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. She is the founder and CEO of St. Elmo’s Preparatory School in Jamaica, where she fosters a nurturing environment for learning and growth. Additionally, she is the CEO of Reliance Home Care, LLC, based in Missouri.
Patsy’s passion for life extends beyond the borders of her homeland, as evidenced by her extensive travels to the African continent, the Caribbean, Europe, and Mexico. These rich cultural experiences broadened her perspective and infused her work with a rich, creative culture.
Patsy currently resides in Missouri and is a proud mother and grandmother.
