Jane writes creative non-fiction, taking inspiration from the landscape of north Wales. Her new book NONCONFORMIST is about discovering her Welsh roots, exploring the language and culture of contemporary Cymru.
Jane grew up on a remote farm in north Wales. She didn't have a TV and the internet hadn't been invented, so she read a lot. Jane trained as a fine artist – a reader describes her writing as 'painting with words' – she was a book designer for many years before she started writing books herself. Her first book LESSONS IN IMPERMANENCE is a memoir about living in a French barn.
