Terry Gray was born in rural Indiana in 1957, graduating from Hagerstown High School in 1975 and later earning her Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana University. After teaching second grade for a few years, Terry became a stay-at-home mother to four now-adult children. She has a wide range of interests...photography, tennis, volunteer work, overseas missions, traveling, and unabashedly doting on her six young grandchildren. Terry and her husband Kim live in a log cabin amidst the cornfields of Indiana. She also authors a personal blog, www.notquitecountrygirl.com. True stories of survival have always fascinated Terry, and she was thrilled to have the opportunity to share one with the world with her first book, "Unsinkable."
