Hey there--I'm not the Greg Green who writes all the books on how to grow marijuana. Totally different subject matter. What I write about is getting strong and fit for the second half of the game we call life. I know how it is: you're so busy these days with work and family and a million other obligations that taking care of yourself has become such a low priority that your younger self wouldn't even recognize you anymore.

I'm here to tell you that by doing this the smart way you can show up to your next class reunion and blow people away. That you can call up your old self and report that you are now stronger and leaner than he ever was.

My newest book, The Fad Proof Diet, is a handbook for setting up a fat loss diet based on the real science behind how fat loss works. Many of the popular fad diets out there, including the ketogenic diet and other low carb diets work, but not for the reasons people are typically led to believe (insulin and other hormones, for example, are not the primary drivers of fat loss).

The Fad Proof Diet will help you set up your own diet, based on both the evidence of how it all works and your personal preferences when it comes to the foods you eat. It is, therefore, sustainable, which is perhaps the greatest weakness of the fad diets--at some point, you'll want to eat pizza again. Rigid adherence to any strict dietary system is a setup for failure. If you can't eat the foods you love--at least sometimes--you'll never be able to maintain your new weight. It's no good getting to your goals if you can't stay there.
