S. O. Davis

S.O. Davis began her journey as a writer at the tender age of nine when, after professing her endless adoration of books to her beloved fourth-grade teacher, Mrs. C told her that anything she imagined was possible through words and books. (If only Mrs. C had inspired her to feel equally passionate about Math.)

Yes, this Ghana-born, Northern Virginia-raised woman is a writer through and through. Telling stories remains the most fascinating thing she's ever done and could be doing.

Ms. Davis is the author of "Your Elephant, After All" (poems); "The Loftiest Thing” (short fiction); and "Raincoat for your Senses" (short fiction and poetry). She's going to finish that novel one of these days.
