Stephen McNeilly

Stephen McNeilly is a London based writer, artist, curator, editor, anthologist and museum director at Swedenborg House, London. His most recent publications include Concerning an Idea About Place (2024) and Swedenborg’s Lusthus (2024) an anthology which culminated in an exhibition and publication featuring contributions by Deborah Levy, Daniel Birnbaum, Iain Sinclair, Ken Worpole, Chloe Aridjis and which was described by the Cambridge Review of Books as a ‘poignant reflection upon the interconnectedness of place and writing’. He is also the author of the Dedecus Book of Endnotes, the Dedecus Catalogue Raisonne and is the editor of the Journal of the Swedenborg Society, described by Annalisa Volpone as a ‘mapping of the impact of Swedenborg’s thought on the western literary imaginaire’.
