Amanda Epe

Amanda Epe BEM is a creative producer, storyteller and writer. The winner of the 2022 RAF sponsored BLAC award in best Writer category she has created books and short educational films. Her debut book title A Fly Girl Travel Tales launched at the Free Word Centre, in 2015 winning the One Big Book Launch and Nigerian Writers Award 2016. Forbes magazine 2021, listed A Fly Girl Memoir as a recommended read, also compiled by Lonely Planet as top 12 essential read for 2021& 2022. The Mirror listed the travel memoir as a recommended read in 2020.

Amanda's other titles for young people and children are FLY GIRLS, a biography for children on female aviation pioneers, and FLY HIGH: A Guide to Pilot and Air Cabin Crew Training co-authored with Rasheed Graham. She has delivered storytelling workshops at schools, libraries and in partnership with the BBC and universities.
