Tera Qualls

Tera founded Momentum because she wanted to make a bigger impact on the world, knowing the best way to do that is to help nonprofits make a bigger impact themselves. Bringing her decade of experience in the sector, and extensive research and training in nonprofit leadership and talent management, Tera wants to work with nonprofit organizations ready and willing to make a change to better their work for their mission and equip their workforce to work more effectively.

Tera is co-author of the book The Talent Development Platform: Putting people first in social change organizations. In The Talent Development Platform, Tera and co-author Heather Carpenter test the idea that social change organizations can make a greater impact by taking a step back to look at their learning culture and how they are managing and supporting staff for growth. The book challenges organizations to develop systems in their organizations that help their people — staff and volunteers — thrive.
