Roger Forshaw

Roger Forshaw is an honorary lecturer in Biomedical Egyptology at the University of Manchester and a former dental surgeon. He studied Egyptology at the University of Exeter and obtained his MSc and PhD at the University of Manchester. He has published on the Saite Period, the role of the lector and medical and dental care in ancient Egypt. He is at present researching into health, disease and healing practices in ancient cultures.
