Sandra V. McGee

Sandra V. McGee launched her writing career as a publicist for the performing arts. In 2000, she ventured into the world of the legendary Nevada divorce ranches. She collaborated with her late husband, author William L. McGee, on his cowboy memoir, "THE DIVORCE SEEKERS: The Intimate True Story of a Nevada Divorce Ranch Wrangler -- a memoir combined with history. From 1947-49, Bill was the wrangler on the Flying M E, the exclusive divorce ranch outside of Reno for wealthy Easterners and Hollywood luminaries.

Sandra's ongoing dedication to preserving this slice of history in the American West has earned her the reputation as an expert on the subject.

Sandra has also worked with her co-author/husband on five World War II in the Pacific military histories, and various memoirs of different phases of Bill's life.

Sandra's passions are ballet, film noir, Westerns, and Reno when it was the “Divorce Capital of the World.”
