Jason Kessler

Jason Kessler was born in Wisconsin and grew up in the Twin Cities. He has a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Music from the University of Minnesota and received an MD from the University of Iowa in 1998. He completed pediatric residency at Tod Children's Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio in 2001. "Dr Jason" has been a Medicaid Medical Director, program director for Physician Assistant education, and a pediatrician. He does speaking and consulting on Quality and Process Improvement in medicine, Pediatric topics, leadership, learning from anyone, and other things.

He is also an accomplished semi-professional musician and has several original rock CDs to his credit. He currently plays keyboards, harmonica, and vocals for Des Moines area band, Sister Sara. More of Jason’s music can be found at www.broadjam.com/prors.

His first novel, "St. Bartholomew's Blood" was published in 2014 and his second, "Tea With Jesus" in 2018. He is currently working on a musical, which he hopes will spark a stage production and worldwide sensation, or at least one of those.
