Jean Schara

Jean is a retired military officer living with her retired college professor husband in Central Texas and an excessive assortment of rescued cats. Together, they wrangle cats and are restoring their Victorian home built in 1900. Jean's interests are cats, technology gadgets, polar bears, reading (a wide variety of material but tech manuals are not a favorite), wildlife management, and yard work. Upon retirement, she learned she liked the idea of being a housewife. Who knew? She brings those elements and more into her fiction. Jean supports her husband's dream to restore 1946 Mercury automobiles, and they own four (the convertible, the woodie wagon, the four-door sedan, and the businessman's coupe).
