Mark A. King

Mark A. King has played football for the England manager, been in the close presence of a saint, and been held at gunpoint.

All this was a long time ago, and now he enjoys worlds and characters far more bizarre, outlandish and alien – for these are the joys of writing and reading flash fiction.

He’s proud to be one of the founders of the FlashDogs movement. He's also proud of the incredible global vss365 community (which can trace its origins back to the concept and delivery he originally created).

His first novel, Metropolitan Dreams, was released early 2017, set in an alternative London, which has been described as gritty and realistic yet magical. His two sequels, Mother of Exiles 1&2, continue the story, based in an alternative New York.

He has studied creative writing at York University, Cambridge University, and has an MA from the highly respected and successful creative writing programmes at UEA.

He lives in the beautiful county of Norfolk, UK.
