Barbara Carpenter

Barbie majored in Child Development in college and has always enjoyed working with children. She has written several children's short stories that she has shared with her family. In fact her first story was a personalized book given to her nephew.

She lives in Clovis, California with her husband and two active toddler boys. Barbie is passionate about her creative hobbies and is able to carve out time for them in addition to being a busy working mother.

She is quirky, funny and intelligent and has a loving heart. In addition to writing books her hobbies include many Do-It-Yourself projects that have created a warm inviting home. Her entrepreneurial nature led to starting her own online children's boutique. Barbie has a unique and charming way at looking at the world, which came from growing up with free-spirited parents, reflecting in her writing.

Her first book is a reflection of the unique obstacles she faced as a child and the journey to self-acceptance.
