Buff Brown

Buff Brown started Desert Cooler Specialist in 1986 with just one truck operating out of his garage and no customers. In the past 29 years Desert Cooler Specialist has installed over 10,000 evaporative cooling systems in homes and businesses in the Coachella Valley. As a Licensed C20 HVAC contractor with the California Contractors State License Board, Desert Cooler Specialist is the only company in the Coachella Valley that specializes in residential and commercial evaporative cooling systems.

Some businesses Buff has worked with in the Coachella Valley include: Mercedes Benz of Palm Springs, Palm Springs Infiniti, BMW of Palm Springs, Frenchy’s of Palm Springs, Boys & Girls Clubs of Cathedral City & Palm Springs, City of Palm Desert, Giuseppe’s Pizza & Pasta, and Hallmark Assisted Living Palm Springs just to name a few.

His motto is "Take care of the client first and then take care of the equipment". One of the things he enjoys most is educating homeowners just like you.

Almost 30 years later his passion has not changed, and that’s why his business card reads: “Your Comfort…Our Passion”.
