Currently living in New York City with his wonderful dog Loki. Patrick J. Loller served as a combat medic with the 1/102nd infantry in Afghanistan, where he wrote the WarVerse series as a way to escape the daily realities of combat.

He also tells jokes, performs stand up regularly around NYC, and struggles to write bios about himself in the third person.
