Doug Mclain

Doug McLain is a CPA living in Vancouver, Washington and has been auditing homeowner associations since 2001. He is a shareholder with Currie & McLain, P.S. an accounting firm specializing in homeowner association accounting and taxes. He is also a founding partner of HOA Tax Help, the first online tax preparation tool specifically designed for homeowner associations. Doug’s experience with homeowner associations has led him to various volunteer opportunities in the community. He is currently volunteering with the Washington State University business department as a mentor to graduating business students. He has also served as board treasurer for the non-profit (ACE) Affordable Community Environments for several years. In his free time, which is not much during tax season, he enjoys hiking, canoeing, scuba diving and camping with his family and their border collie.
