Tom Pamperin

Tom Pamperin was born in 1971, and lives in northern Wisconsin with his wife and cat. Tom taught English and writing at the high school and university level for ten years, and studied (briefly) in the nonfiction MFA program at the University of Idaho. An enthusiastic small boat sailor and amateur boat builder, Tom spends his summers aboard an open boat, exploring the Great Lakes by sail and oar. He writes regularly for WoodenBoat Magazine, Small Craft Advisor, and Duckworks Magazine online.
