Hello, my name is Mike Warren and I make stuff.

I design and build functional prototypes out of whatever I can get my hands on, the results explore the intersection of functionality with whimsical absurdity. My aim is to inspire, educate, and entertain. The results can be messy, but are always fun!

I've published over 300 project tutorials online for makers of all skill levels. My projects are carefully documented and open-source so you can easily make them yourself, or be inspired and remix the ideas in your own way. You should try them, they are fun. I promise!

My work has been featured worldwide in print media like Wired, The New York Times, Popular Science, C|NET, and New Scientist. I've also had my projects shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Daily Planet, Discovery, Japanese Television, and The Science Channel.
