Timothy Dalton lives in California with his wife, two children, and three dogs. When he isn’t working or coaching baseball, he can usually be found reading, watching movies, binging TV shows, or collecting obscure trivia fitting for a Jeopardy contestant on a nine-day winning streak. He dislikes writing about himself in the third person, but here we are.
Writing has been his passion for many years. He debuted his first novel, And the Tide Turns, in 2015, followed by the stand-alone thriller On the Hitlist in 2016. His most recent novel, In the Hunt, published in 2024, is a semi-biographical police procedural inspired by a legendary figure in the Los Angeles Police Department, exploring the gritty reality and deep-rooted corruption of the city’s criminal underworld.
He is currently hard at work on his fourth book, Killing Wolf, which is a western horror that takes place during the 1880’s when the wild frontier was coming to an end. This upcoming novel is slated for completion in 2026.
