After 30-years of technical writing, Steve Kidd has recently turned to writing fiction calling on his love of Florida and life experiences working in parallel jobs; one as a firefighter in a busy metropolitan fire department and the other as an author and multimedia producer. Both careers and extensive travel has allowed Steve to cross paths with all sorts of colorful and interesting people who cover the extreme ends of the spectrum.
Steve and co-author John Czajkowski were the principle authors for three textbooks that were published by Penwell and McGraw-Hill, and wrote and produced over 50 award winning video training programs used to teach fire and rescue techniques to firefighters and rescue technicians around the world.
Now retired from the Fire Department and from serving Fortune 500 companies and major medical and educational institutions through his multimedia production business in Orlando, Florida, Steve has turned to writing fiction as a hobby, and is finally free of production schedules, publishing contracts, and most of all, DEADLINES and "all-nighters".
