Stephanie Margolese

Hello. My name is Dr. Stephanie Margolese, but my young clients often refer to me as Dr. Stephanie. I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in assessing and treating pre-school aged children, school-aged children, young adolescents, and older teens. Of course, when you work with children, you are also working with their parents and the entire family!

I have worked in the Child Psychiatry Department at the Jewish General Hospital since 2001. Over the years, I have helped hundreds of children and adolescents facing all sorts of challenges including anxiety, depression, ASD, emotion regulation problems, interpersonal problems and more.

I am Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and an Assistant Professor (Professional) in the Department of Psychology at McGill University and as such I teach and supervise pre-doctoral psychology interns and psychiatry residents.

In addition to my mission to help children reach their full potential, I have discovered a passion for writing and collaborating on therapeutic resource books for children. To date, I have authored, co-authored, and collaborated on six English books!
