ShaLee is the youngest child of Merlin and Roxann Enabnit's four children. Growing up in a minister's family was a unique experience. Moving where the Lord had lead her family was sad at first leaving friends behind every few years was difficult. However, she learned as she grew up that moving to different places were adventures waiting to happen. Living in cities, in the country and in a small town has given her different perspectives. Living in other states has broadened her horizons in meeting many different kinds of people. She learned how skin is like clothes it just covers the soul. "We are all human beings some just get better tans then she does." She has said more times than not.

ShaLee has an unusual beginning for the love of words she struggled learning to read due to a undiagnosed dyslexia. However, she persisted in learning and over came the optical. Due to this start in the written word she did not start writing stories down until high school. Her stories were told orally during play with her childhood friend.

She now lives in the small town of Toronto Kansas.
