Michael Aloysius O'Reilly

Michael Aloysius O'Reilly is a graduate of Marquette University where he spent four years drinking Bull Frog beer,, reading James Joyce, William Shakespeare and little else.

His early plays were produced by the Berkshire Theatre Festival (DANCE FOR A NAKED LADY) and by Actors Equity at Lincoln Center (DINNER AT THE AMBASSADOR'S).

His novel PROUD PATRICK is a portrait of growing up Irish-Catholic in Chicago. A family saga over four generations remembered in joy and sadness, in 'sunshine and in shadows'.

The bulk of O'Reilly's time is spent writing screenplays and plays Father of three sons, the author lives in the snowy hamlet of Arlington VT.
