My life's work has been mainly in the field of sales. Most of my career was as an independent sales representative.

Looking back, I was so independent I found it hard to work for someone else. There were times I wondered if I could pay the rent and have enough to eat. Somehow business would come my way and I would survive another month. At that time I didn't give God credit for my success. I thought it was through my own ability that got the job done.

Now I know that He was with me even when I didn't acknowledge His presence. Just as He was with me then, He inspired me to write poetry that might provoke thought about our relationship with the Lord.
