Nyema Hermiston RN, ND Adv Dip Hom BScHons, a practitioner, health writer and author of over 30 years, draws on her medical background to inform the research in her publications.

She has a keen interest in public health and contributes to newspapers and national journals in Australia.

She has authored three books and co-authored one book:

• Planning Parenthood in the Age of Autism - A Research-Based Guide: reveals the range of autism risk factors that parents and practitioners can work to avoid.

• Treat Your Child's Ear Infections Yourself - a booklet for parents on how to safely and effectively manage ear pain, infections and fevers at home, before turning to antibiotics.

• Treat Your Child Yourself - A Parent's Guide to Drug-Free Solutions for Common Complaints (co-written with Jon Gamble) informs parents on simple treatments for over 100 common childhood ailments, safely, for pregnant women and young children.

• Good News for People with Bad News - Recovery stories from 41 interviews with people from six countries who used a range of unknown, but dynamic therapies to treat their severe and life-threatening conditions.

Nyema loves to dig down into the research to find little-known yet helpful treatments for chronic conditions for her clients and parents to use. These are often simple, affordable treatments that are safe and effective, and help to avoid the unwanted side effects of medications.
