Carolin Strothe

Carolin Strothe lives in Hanover with her husband and two children in Hanover, Germany. From an early age, she has loved cooking and baking with seasonal ingredients from her garden and developing new recipes.

After training as a photographer and earning a degree in communication design, she dedicated herself to her passion for creative food styling and design. For over twelve years, she has worked as a food stylist, author, and food photographer—collaborating with brands such as Edeka, Alnatura, Le Creuset, Rewe, and KitchenAid. Her book *Einfach natürlich backen*

(Natural Baking) was published by DK and has gone through multiple print runs.

She has received numerous awards for her work, including the title of World’s Best Food Stylist at the 2022 World Food Photography Awards. Jamie Oliver affectionately calls her his "German foodie friend." In her cottage garden, she cultivates heirloom fruit and vegetable varieties that play a starring role in her recipes and photographs.
