ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Kristine E. Brickey was born and raised in Michigan. After teaching for thirty years, she now writes full time, clearly choosing careers based on what she loves and not for the money. The author of Flowers for Rodney and They Said She Was Crazy, she is proud to finally have her latest novel ready for her fans after working on it for the last six years. Listening to her characters, and using her own life experiences, she is brave enough to write fictional stories that face tough topics head on without flinching. When she’s not writing, she can be found riding her Mustang mare, spending time with her donkeys and dogs, or relaxing with her husband.
