John Sylvain

John Sylvain is a writer, director and producer in many mediums. He co-founded Annex Theater in Seattle, Instant Films in Los Angeles and The Purple Crayon of Yale. He is the founder of Sacred Fools Theater in LA, father of Yogi Sylvain and Husband of Shelley Wenk.

John was born in Massachusetts but barely remembers that. He was raised in New Hampshire, which is unusual, and spent his formative years in New Haven, Chicago and Seattle.

John started writing the Bobby Blinx series for his son Yogi. It soon turned into a collaboration and after many years and many re-writes it's now part of the world!
