David Bergheim

Greenbeaux author David Bergheim grew up inside the Beltway and he has never fully recovered from that trauma. He had the bad fortune of being born into a political family, and as a child, was put to work delivering campaign leaflets door-to-door for the candidates his parents fancied in his hometown of Alexandria, Virginia.

He moved to Tucson after high school, which was the farthest place outside the Beltway that he could think to go. Despite his best efforts to escape politics, he found himself being sucked back in during the initiative to recall a governor when he was a college student. After receiving a degree in English Literature from the University of Arizona, he fled that state too (notice a pattern?) and moved to Connecticut where he earned an MBA at the Yale School of Management.

Flash forward to today... David successfully fled Connecticut and then Georgia, and now lives with his family in Southern California. After many productive years working in marketing and career services at prestigious universities, he is now quite happy to spend his time writing novels and strategic plans, rescuing kittens from trees, and occasionally coaching soccer. He is married, has two sons, one dog, and one cat that is not presently up a tree.
