Susan Feehan

Susan Feehan has a lifelong passion for words — as a journalist, university lecturer, business writing mentor, and screenwriter. She was born in South London to working-class parents; her mother swore she had a two-week flirtation with the idea of becoming a 'ballerina on ice' but soon returned to her true passion: writing. After a varied career in magazines, university and the corporate world, Susan turned to screenwriting, realising that separate newspaper stories would often make a good film — if only they could be merged. She soon found herself in a film crowdfund for one of her projects, fast becoming aware it was doomed. But inspirational words kept Susan going in the dark days of the crowdfund pitch and their power became the inspiration for her first book — How to Write Well...When You Don't Know Where to Start. So far, Susan has written five screenplays: three of them have won script contest honours. She loves helping businesspeople to write well, knowing it helps them to nudge the world in a better direction.
