Anna Lord

Anna Lord is a writer, painter, translator and jewellery designer who currently lives in Florence, Italy.

She was born in Finland. Her mother was a refugee from Finnish Karelia and her father was a British author.

She spent her childhood and youth in various European countries where she became passionate about languages, ancient history, herbalism and nature. Her travels take her to various parts of the world, however she is especially enchanted by the Mediterranean islands and the Himalayan regions of Asia.

She loves unravelling the mysteries of hidden history and is passionate about ancient civilisations. Her writing, art and jewellery designs are intertwined and one of the main themes is always respect for mother nature and all sentient beings.
