Joyce Powell

Joyce Powell (1947) is a "baby boomer" born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, who grew up in Monroe, Michigan, and never lost her love of her southern roots. For fifty years she played piano and sang in Gospel Music groups, eventually winning awards for Musician of the Year and Song of the Year from the Southern Gospel Music Association of Texas. Her first book, "Reflections: God's Love, Mercy and Grace" was well accepted and soon followed by "Grace for Living: Listening for the Voice of God." In February, 2015, she completed her first Bible Study, "Road Signs for Living: In an Ever-Changing World With a Never-Changing God." Her newest edition is "Words of Hope - Help for the Hurting Heart" designed to bring hope, encouragement, and comfort in the midst of troubled times.
