Kate Abbott

Kate Abbott was born in Brooklyn and raised in Kent, Connecticut. A graduate of Georgetown University and Rutgers Law School, she now resides in Virginia. A lover of writing and poetry and an experienced legal and medical ethics author, she recently published her first novel, Running Through the Wormhole, a slipstream piece based in Fairfax and Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia.

In addition to writing, Kate is a yoga instructor and practitioner, an ultra marathoner, the mother of three boys and the lucky housemate of three rescue labrador retrievers. The latest edition is a tri-pod, who is the faster runner in the household.
