Alyssa Devine is the pseudonym for an award-winning scientist/investigator who already has published ten adult mystery/thrillers and police procedurals. Besides drawing on the author’s background in criminal investigations, The Hypnotist explores the paranormal, including tarot card readings and reincarnation. Though billed as a YA novel about two teenage sleuths in Lafayette, LA, adults will be equally fascinated by this story and its characters.
