Peter Canton

Peter Canton has always been a story teller and able to entertain those around him. He attributes his survival of tough times to his ability to daydream; it's the reason he received low marks in 'the art of paying attention' at the Ziehen-Gymnasium in Frankfurt, Germany. It was this 'fine art of daydreaming' that laid the path for Peter's flexibility as a problem solving Operations Manager at the NY Times. It also provided effective ways to survive basic training and have ongoing success during his Air Force service, an accomplishment for which he is most proud.

Peter is retired and resides in central Florida. He is a history maven with an inside expertise of WWII Europe. He is a collector of all things military and spends his free time buying and selling his collectibles while sharing stories about his wares. Peter is happiest working in his garden or paddling in the river in his kayak.
