Tara M. Owens

Tara M. Owens is a certified spiritual director and the founder of Anam Cara Ministries (anamcara.com), where she practices the art of holy listening with pilgrims from all over the world. She holds a master's of theological studies in spiritual formation from Tyndale Seminary, teaches in the Benedictine Spiritual formation program at Benet Pines Monastery, and is a sought-after speak, supervisor, consultant and retreat leader. Formerly a professional journalist, Tara believes in the power of connecting our story to God's story, and she is the senior editor of Conversations Journal, a spiritual formation journal founded by David Benner, Larry Crabb and Gary moon. Canadian by birth and British by blood, she has made her home in the mountains of Colorado, where she lives with her husband, daughter and rescue dog. She loves Dr. Who, weird board games and is on the ultimate quest for the perfect red velvet cupcake.
